Dunlop Leo Nocentelli Crybaby Wah

The Dunlop Leo Nocentelli Crybaby Wah is a signature effect pedal honouring the Meters guitarist's mastery of funk and his New Orleans roots. This legacy model features a lowered frequency range that delivers the warm, vocal–like wah tones Nocentelli has used throughout his career. Dressed in Mardi Gras colours of deep purple, gold, and green with custom fleur–de–lis tread, the pedal brings authentic Big Easy character to any rig. The frequency shift sets it apart from standard Crybaby models, offering greasier midrange sweep.

The lowered frequency range produces warmer, more vocal tones compared to the traditional Crybaby sweep, capturing the thick, funky character heard on classic Meters recordings. The custom fleur–de–lis tread plate provides grip and visual distinction, whilst the rocker mechanism maintains the familiar feel players expect from the Crybaby platform. Housed in the standard enclosure dimensions, the pedal integrates easily into existing boards. The circuit tuning reflects Nocentelli's personal preferences developed over decades of studio and stage work, emphasising midrange warmth over trebly bite.
