DiMarzio RELENTLESS NECK GOLD COVER

DiMarzio's Relentless Neck pickup arrives with a gold cover and a mission to deliver controlled aggression for extended–range guitars. Designed in collaboration with guitarist Billy Sheehan, this humbucker balances thick low–end response with articulate note definition across all strings. The voicing emphasises clarity under high gain while maintaining warmth when played clean, addressing the specific demands of modern heavy playing styles that require both power and precision.

The Relentless Neck uses a ceramic magnet and four–conductor wiring for comprehensive tonal flexibility. Output measures 295mV, positioning it in the moderate–to–high range without sacrificing dynamic response. DC resistance sits at 13.15k ohms, contributing to its focused midrange character and controlled bass frequencies. The gold cover provides both visual distinction and subtle magnetic field shaping. Treble, middle, and bass EQ ratings of 5.5, 6.5, and 6.0 respectively reflect its balanced voicing with slight midrange emphasis, enabling rhythm work and lead passages to cut through dense mixes without harshness.
