This innovative design maintains all the power and versatility that made the original Super Distortion® the industry benchmark since the early 1970s.

As DiMarzio’s highest-output humbucking soapbar replacement, the P90 Super Distortion™ offers guitarists with P90-routed instruments a direct upgrade path without requiring any modifications to their guitar. The pickup fits seamlessly into existing P90 cavities whilst providing the enhanced output and noise-cancelling benefits of humbucking technology.

True to its heritage, this pickup features 12 adjustable pole pieces for precise string balance and comes equipped with 4-conductor wiring. This wiring configuration opens up tonal possibilities through split-coil and parallel humbucking modes, giving players access to a broader palette of sounds from a single pickup installation.
