DiMarzio Injector Single Coil Neck Pickup (White)

Paul Gilbert's journey with DiMarzio began in the 1980s when Billy Sheehan raved about an extraordinary 18-year-old guitarist who had just landed in California. This young virtuoso had stunned the music scene with his incredible speed, technical prowess, and musicianship in Racer X, prompting DiMarzio® to immediately seek him out as an endorser. This marked the beginning of what would become a lasting and fruitful partnership.

In recent years, Gilbert has developed a strong preference for DiMarzio's Area™ pickups whilst returning to his roots with Racer X-style instrumental compositions. This musical direction created the perfect opportunity for DiMarzio® to collaborate with Paul on developing his own signature single-coil sized pickups. The result of this collaboration is the innovative Injector™ Neck and Bridge Model pickups.

These new signature pickups can be heard in action on Paul's latest recording, “Fuzz Universe”, showcasing the tonal capabilities that emerged from this partnership between one of guitar's most respected players and DiMarzio's pickup expertise.
