DiMarzio™ Guitar & Instrument Cables have earned their reputation as the new industry standard through rigorous testing and superior performance. These American‐made cables connect guitars, basses and keyboards to amplifiers with exceptional clarity, quietness and durability that outperforms much more expensive alternatives. Guitar Player magazine put them through their notorious "chop" and "jump rope" tests, along with numerous other torture tests, and they passed with flying colours.
The secret lies in the custom‐designed low‐capacitance copper cable construction, which ensures minimal stage noise whilst guaranteeing consistent sound reproduction and improved high frequency response. Each cable features a robust nylon braided jacket engineered to lie flat, reduce tangling and provide superior protection. All DiMarzio™ cables are hand‐assembled in their New York City factory, with options for right angle and silent ends available at additional cost.
Technical specifications include AWG 20 wire gauge with polyethylene and PVC insulation, 33.27 pF/ft capacitance, and 98% copper braid shielding with conductive PVC. The cables feature a distinctive neon yellow PVC jacket with nylon overbraid, silver solder termination, and straight‐to‐straight Switchcraft connectors for reliable performance in any musical application.
