Dream Theater's John Petrucci has collaborated on what he calls “tone-monsters” - the revolutionary Rainmaker™ Neck and Dreamcatcher™ Bridge pickups that represent years of meticulous development. These pickups mark the pinnacle of their ongoing partnership, with Petrucci describing the final result as “absolutely mind-blowing.”

Originally crafted for John's signature Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty neck-through guitar, these pickups showcase the sonic direction Petrucci has been pursuing for his personal sound. The Rainmaker™ Neck pickup offers enhanced sensitivity to pick attack dynamics and expanded overall range, making it highly responsive to playing technique.

What sets the Rainmaker™ Neck apart is its unique tonal character - combining warmer high frequencies with more open midrange response. This distinctive blend bridges classic and modern neck pickup approaches, giving players access to both vintage warmth and contemporary clarity in a single pickup design.
