Dimarzio BC-2 Billy Corgan Signature Rail Hum Cancelling Strat Pickup (Black/Black)

Originally conceived as the Airbucker™ version of the Norton®, the Air Norton™ has evolved into something far more versatile than DiMarzio initially imagined. While it was designed to be a distinctive bridge pickup for high-gain applications, this humbucker quickly proved its worth as an exceptional neck pickup as well.

The Air Norton™ produces a tone that’s deep and warm without becoming muddy, offering plenty of heat without crossing into distorted territory. What sets it apart from typical neck humbuckers is its ability to generate cool harmonics – an unusual characteristic that adds musical complexity to your sound. The patented magnetic structure reduces string-pull, resulting in improved sustain while providing tremendous control over pick attack and dynamics.

For optimal tonal combinations, pair the Air Norton™ with an Air Zone™, The Tone Zone® or Steve’s Special™ in the bridge position to achieve a perfect balance of power and tone. Alternatively, install an Air Norton™ in the bridge position alongside an Air Classic™ Bridge model in the neck position for a distinctive medium-output blues-rock sound that cuts through any mix.
