Denis Wick Trumpet Mute (Extending Tube)

Wick has revolutionised the extending tube mute with innovative engineering that solves the age-old challenges of poor intonation and weak projection. Traditional extending mutes have frustrated musicians for years with their tendency to muffle sound and compromise pitch accuracy, but this groundbreaking design changes everything.

The secret lies in Wick's unique construction that maintains tonal clarity whilst creating beautiful colour variations in your sound. Unlike conventional mutes that sacrifice projection for effect, these mutes produce a crisp, focused tone that cuts through any ensemble with remarkable ease.

Versatility is built into every aspect of these mutes, offering three distinct playing positions to suit different musical requirements. With the stem fully inserted, partially extended, or completely removed, musicians can access a range of tonal colours whilst maintaining consistent intonation and projection throughout all positions.
