Zone Controllers bring professional-grade remote control capabilities to your DriveRack® and ZonePRO™ systems with remarkable simplicity. These nine specialised controllers utilise analogue DC voltage to manage everything from zone source selection and volume adjustments to programme changes and critical fire safety muting functions.
Installation couldn't be more straightforward — standard CAT5 cable with RJ-45 connectors handles connections up to 1000 feet, making use of readily available and cost-effective cabling solutions. This approach provides contractors with an elegant yet practical control system that integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructure.
The remote units feature programmable push-button volume controls with up/down functionality, alongside programmable rotary switches for source selection specifically designed for dbx® ZonePRO™ devices. DIP switch configuration allows for precise device identification, ensuring reliable communication between the remote controllers and your processing equipment via the CAT5 connection.
