Zone Controllers bring professional-grade remote control capabilities to your DriveRack® and ZonePRO™ systems, extending their functionality far beyond the rack itself. These nine specialised controllers utilise analogue DC voltage to provide comprehensive logic control across multiple zones, handling everything from source selection and volume adjustment to muting functions and program changes. Fire safety muting capabilities are also built-in, making these controllers suitable for commercial installations where safety compliance is paramount.
Installation couldn't be more straightforward, with standard CAT5 cable and universally accepted RJ-45 connectors providing reliable connections at distances up to 1000 feet. This approach keeps costs down whilst maintaining professional standards, using readily available cabling that any contractor will be familiar with. The elegant simplicity of this solution makes it an attractive option for both installers and end users.
Each remote device features computer-programmable rotary potentiometer volume control, specifically designed for compatibility with dbx DriveRack 260, 220i and ZonePRO™ units. DIP switches on each controller allow for easy identification and addressing, ensuring multiple units can operate seamlessly within the same system without conflicts or confusion.
