Professional audio engineers know that the crossover is the unsung hero of any great-sounding PA system. The dbx® 223xs Crossover brings four decades of industry-leading expertise to your setup, using precision Linkwitz-Riley 24dB per octave filters to separate audio signals and direct the correct frequencies to each loudspeaker driver. This targeted frequency distribution allows your amplifiers to operate at full power on usable signals, eliminating distortion and producing cleaner, more accurate sound reproduction.
Built as a dual channel crossover, the 223xs includes all the professional features you'd expect from dbx. The unit offers independent output gain controls for precise level matching, output phase inversion capabilities, a 40Hz low cut filter, and optional mono summing for low frequency subwoofer output. The robust construction is evident throughout, from the solid "click" controls to the high-quality XLR balanced inputs and outputs.
Versatility is key with the 223xs, featuring a mode switch that allows for either stereo 2-way or mono 3-way operation, plus a low frequency summed output for subwoofer applications. Additional professional touches include x10 range switches on both channels, phase reverse switches on all outputs, individual level controls, and stereo/mono status LEDs. The unit comes with dbx's standard 2-year parts and labour warranty and meets both CSA NRTL/C and CE compliance standards.
