The Vintage Ultra v2 takes bass tone shaping to new heights with its comprehensive cabinet simulation capabilities and enhanced connectivity options. Building upon the foundation of its predecessor, this upgraded version introduces a single user-loadable cabinet simulation impulse response system that connects seamlessly to your PC or Mac via the Micro-USB B port. Through the Darkglass Suite software, musicians can load different Virtual Cabinet simulations to customise their sound profile with precision.
Professional output options include a balanced XLR connection with switchable cabinet simulation, perfect for direct recording or live performance applications. The dedicated 3.5mm headphone output features built-in cabinet simulation, making it ideal for silent practice sessions without compromising on authentic bass tone quality.
Practice sessions become more engaging with the integrated 3.5mm stereo auxiliary input, designed for connecting backing tracks from smartphones, laptops, or other audio sources. This auxiliary input functions exclusively with the headphone output, and level control must be managed from your connected audio device. Always set your audio source to a low level before making connections to the auxiliary input to protect your hearing and equipment.
- Bass preamp pedal
- Blend mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal
- Level sets the volume of the overdriven signal
- Drive sets the amount of saturation in the overdriven signal
- Attack Switch sets the amount of treble content to saturate
- Grunt Switch sets the amount of low frequency content to saturate
- Lo Mids is a 12dB boost/cut with switchable frequency bands: 250Hz, 500Hz and 1kHz
- Hi Mids is a 12dB boost/cut with switchable frequency bands: 750Hz, 1.5KHz and 3kHz
- Ground lift disconnects the signal ground on the Direct Output to break any ground loops
- Toggle the cabinet simulation on/off on the Direct Output - bypasses all digital circuits get a zero latency signal
- A Micro USB B connector allows you to connect the pedal to PC/Mac to load cabinet simulation impulse responses
- Uses a regulated 9V DC adapter with a centre-negative plug
- Current draw of 30mA.
- Aux In for convenient practice
