Cort C4 Deluxe Active Electric Bass Guitar (Candy Blue)

The Cort C4 Deluxe represents a considered approach to active bass design, bringing professional–grade electronics and hardware to players seeking tonal flexibility without excessive complexity. This four–string features a poplar body finished in Candy Blue, paired with a hard maple neck and rosewood fingerboard that deliver the fundamental clarity and sustain required for contemporary styles. The active MK1 preamp provides two–band EQ control, giving players the ability to shape bass and treble frequencies on the fly while the Mighty Mite pickups capture the full spectrum of low–end response.

Hardware specifications include a 34–inch scale length and 24 medium frets that provide extended upper register access for melodic playing and chordal work. The die–cast bridge maintains solid intonation and string–to–body transfer, while lightweight tuners reduce headstock mass for improved balance during extended sessions. Output remains consistent across the entire frequency range thanks to the active circuitry, which requires a 9V battery and delivers higher signal voltage than passive configurations. The rosewood fingerboard radius and neck profile accommodate both fingerstyle and slap techniques with equal responsiveness, while the poplar body keeps overall weight manageable for multi–set performances.
