The Cort C4 Deluxe Active delivers modern active bass tones with precision electronics and playing comfort in a sleek black finish. This four-string electric bass combines high-output active pickups with onboard EQ control, giving players dynamic tonal range across contemporary styles. The active circuit provides the headroom and clarity demanded by slap, fingerstyle, and pick techniques, while the lightweight body design reduces fatigue during extended sessions.
Two ceramic pickups—split P-style at the neck position and single-coil J-style at the bridge—feed into a three-band active preamp with bass, middle, and treble controls plus master volume and pickup blend. The hard maple neck and jatoba fingerboard provide bright note definition, while the 34-inch scale and medium-profile neck shape accommodate fast passages. Chrome hardware includes a fixed bridge with string-through-body capability for enhanced sustain and resonance. The electronics run on a standard 9-volt battery housed in a rear cavity panel.
