Cort A5 Plus SC AOP 5-String Electric Bass Guitar (Amber Open Pore) inc Case

The Cort A5 Plus SC AOP is a five-string electric bass built around active electronics and a single-cutaway swamp ash body finished in open-pore amber. Designed to deliver clarity across extended range work, this instrument pairs Bartolini MK-1 pickups with a Markbass EQ-P preamp for tonal control that spans vintage warmth to modern punch. The included hardshell case protects the instrument during transport and storage, making this a complete package ready for stage or studio use.

The electronics package centres on Bartolini MK-1 split-coil and soapbar pickups driving a three-band Markbass EQ-P active preamp with sweepable midrange frequency control. A five-piece maple and walnut neck-through construction extends sustain and improves upper register access, while the 35-inch scale length maintains string tension and definition on the low B string. The ebony fingerboard carries twenty-four frets, and Hipshot Ultralite tuners reduce headstock weight for improved balance. Swamp ash body construction contributes to the instrument's resonant low-end response and articulate midrange character.
