Cordial's CPDS CC S/PDIF Digital Interface Cable represents precision engineering specifically designed for professional digital audio applications. Built around their custom-developed CDS 122 bulk cable, this connection features a 7x 0.20mm conductor structure with 0.22mm² cross-section, maintaining the critical 75-ohm characteristic impedance required for S/PDIF and word clock applications.
The cable incorporates conical, gold-plated Cinch connectors manufactured by REAN (Neutrik), ensuring reliable connectivity across studio, DJ, and consumer electronics environments. These connectors are specifically chosen for their low-loss characteristics, making them ideal for demanding digital audio transmission requirements.
Understanding that different digital audio standards require precise impedance matching, Cordial has fine-tuned the CPDS CC to meet the 75-ohm specification essential for S/PDIF and word clock signals.
