Cole Clark's innovative dual output humbucker models solve a problem that has plagued touring musicians for years - the need for both pristine acoustic tones and gritty electric sounds from a single instrument. Previously, artists would retrofit electric pickups into their acoustic guitars' sound holes, often damaging the rosette and achieving suboptimal placement for electric tones. Cole Clark recognised that electric players typically favour their bridge pickup for dirty sounds, leading to the development of these purpose-built dual output guitars with correctly positioned, fine-tuned pickups.
These humbucker models feature Cole Clark's patented 3-way acoustic pickup system alongside a separate humbucker with dedicated volume and tone controls. The dual output design includes independent jacks - one for acoustic tones best suited to PA systems, and another for electric sounds that shine through amplifiers or amp simulators. A convenient face-mounted switch allows seamless transitions between acoustic, electric, or both outputs simultaneously, giving musicians complete tonal flexibility without compromise.
Built with premium Australian tonewoods, each guitar showcases AA grade Australian Blackwood for the back, sides and top, paired with a Queensland Maple neck featuring a 25.5″ scale length. The She Oak fretboard boasts a comfortable 12″ radius with striking Abalone Snowflake inlays, while quality appointments include a 44mm Graph Tech Tusq nut, Grover tuning machines, and She Oak bridge with Graph Tech Tusq saddle. Every instrument comes complete with a Cole Clark tweed hardcase for professional touring protection.
