Cole Clark's Studio Series GA delivers a cutaway acoustic-electric built for players who spend time both onstage and in the control room. The all-solid-timber construction paired with a 25.5” scale and 44mm nut width suits fingerstyle work and hybrid picking techniques alike. Left-handed configuration accommodates southpaw players without compromise, whilst the poly satin finish resists fingerprints during extended sessions.
The PG3 piezo strip pickup system feeds a clean signal path suitable for recording or amplified performance without feedback issues at moderate volumes. African mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard–bridge assembly provide tonal stability across the fingerboard, whilst Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddle components minimise tonal dampening. Grover machine heads hold tuning reliably, and phosphor bronze 12–53 strings pair naturally with the instrument's midrange emphasis. The inlaid abalone rosette and timber binding reflect Cole Clark's attention to build quality, whilst the included heavy-duty grey gig bag and pickguard round out a complete package.
The compact Grand Auditorium body design sacrifices nothing in projection despite its studio-focused proportions. This configuration excels for bedroom recording setups and intimate live venues where excessive volume works against rather than for the performance. Note that the design isn't optimised for percussive playing techniques that demand braced reinforcement typical of dreadnought models.
