Cole Clark's Hollow Baby SSS is a semi-hollow electric guitar designed around True Balance technology—a proprietary system that ensures consistent pickup output from string to string. The SSS layout places a humbucker at the neck position and two bright single-coils in the middle and bridge slots, offering tonal range suited to recording sessions and stage work. Built with an Australian Blackwood neck and body timbers drawn from responsibly sourced local species—Bunya, Quandong, Silky Oak, and Queensland Maple—this instrument balances sonic character with environmental accountability.
The Rosewood fingerboard carries 6mm abalone dot position markers, while the hardware suite includes Grover tuning machines, a Graph Tech Tusq nut, and a Wilkinson tremolo system to maintain pitch stability. Scale length measures 25.5 inches, the fretboard radius sits at 12 inches, and nut width is 44mm—dimensions that accommodate varied hand shapes and technique preferences. The nitro satin finish in black avoids the glossy appearance of polyurethane coatings while staying easy to care for, and a transparent pickguard preserves the timber aesthetic. Ships with a rectangle tweed hardcase, 10–46 gauge strings fitted, and photographed exactly as stocked.
