Cole Clark Guitars redefine acoustic excellence by merging time-honoured craftsmanship with groundbreaking innovation, creating instruments that stand apart in both construction and sound. These Australian-made guitars utilise sustainably sourced woods and feature the world's most natural sounding pickup system, resulting in instruments that are both stronger and lighter than conventional acoustics.
What truly sets Cole Clark apart is their use of Spanish heel or integral neck construction - the only mainstream steel string acoustic manufacturer to employ this classical technique. Unlike traditional guitars where the body is constructed first and the neck attached separately via bolt or dovetail joints, Cole Clark's integral neck extends as one continuous piece all the way to the sound hole, with the neck glued directly to the face alongside the sides and back. This construction method is fundamental to their advanced pickup technology and contributes significantly to the guitar's distinctive tonal character.
Cole Clark's commitment to superior construction extends to their carved tops and backs, plus an innovative ridge system that joins the sides to the top and back, replacing conventional kerfing methods. Master Grade models represent the pinnacle of their craftsmanship, featuring rare and highly figured timbers that are only available periodically. These premium instruments showcase 6mm abalone fretboard inlays, abalone rosettes, and bound River She Oak fingerboards and bridges of exceptional quality.
