Cole Clark's FL2EC-RDBL represents a remarkable fusion of Australian craftsmanship and historical timber, featuring wood from trees planted by Baron von Mueller over 150 years ago in Victoria's botanical gardens. This all-solid timber cutaway dreadnought showcases Australian grown American Redwood for the top, paired with Australian Blackwood back and sides, creating an instrument that's both visually striking and tonally exceptional. The guitar's construction utilises Cole Clark's distinctive Spanish heel method, where the neck integrates directly with the soundboard rather than being attached separately, resulting in superior sound transmission and resonance.

The FL2EC-RDBL comes equipped with Cole Clark's patented 3-way pickup system as standard, along with premium appointments including a River She Oak fretboard and bridge, Queensland Maple neck, and Grover machine heads. Additional features include inlaid timber binding with purfling and rosette, snowflake inlays, and Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddle. The guitar arrives strung with Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze strings (12-53 gauge) and includes a hard case plus pickguard.

Built using Cole Clark's unique construction methods including internally carved top and back, ridge system joinery, and Spanish heel neck attachment, this instrument offers a playing experience distinct from conventional acoustic guitars. The natural satin nitrocellulose finish highlights the timber's natural beauty, while the 44mm nut width provides comfortable playability.
