Baron von Mueller's 150-year-old Californian Redwood trees, originally planted in Victoria's botanical gardens, now sing through Cole Clark's exceptional acoustic guitars. This Australian-grown American Redwood creates an extremely resonant tone wood that's as striking visually as it is sonically, paired with sustainable Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides plus a Queensland Maple neck.
Cole Clark stands apart as the only mainstream acoustic guitar manufacturer using Spanish heel construction, where the neck integrates as one continuous piece from headstock to soundhole. Rather than bolting or dovetailing the neck to a completed body, this method bonds the neck directly to the face alongside the sides and back. The result is a distinctly unique sound character that sets these instruments apart from conventional construction methods.
This grand auditorium cutaway features internally carved top and back construction, plus Cole Clark's patented 3-way pickup system for versatile amplification. The guitar comes complete with She Oak fretboard and bridge, snowflake inlays, Grover machine heads, and Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddle. Finished in natural satin nitrocellulose with inlaid timber binding, it includes Elixir Nanoweb strings, a hard case, and supplied pickguard – though it's not recommended for percussive playing styles.
