Code 13" Boomer Snare Head (Coated)

Drummers know that the right drum head can make or break their sound, which is why Code has engineered their heads specifically for serious players who demand both performance and reliability. These premium drum heads combine time-honoured manufacturing techniques with cutting-edge technology, utilising the highest quality PET polyester film secured by Code's revolutionary Grip-Tight™ rim technology.

The innovative Grip-Tight™ system features a deep, double-knurled solid steel core that's securely crimped by a high-quality aluminium rim. This unique design ensures your drum head stays firmly in place during even the most intense playing sessions, while allowing the head to resonate freely and tune with exceptional ease and speed. The superior construction also means your tuning holds longer, giving you consistent performance throughout your set.

Code's Boomer series represents the signature choice of Iron Maiden's legendary drummer Nicko McBrain. The Boomer Snare heads are built with a robust 14 mil single ply of PET film for enhanced strength and durability. These heads produce a bright, projecting sound with excellent sensitivity, while the reverse black donut dot provides additional durability and precise tone control. Available in both 13" and 14" sizes, and manufactured using 100% recyclable materials.
