The Charvel American Neo‐Classic Series San Dimas® Style 1 represents the pinnacle of 1980s shred guitar design, now refined with modern enhancements that serious players demand. Built around the classic alder San Dimas body that defined an era, this instrument offers balanced tonal response with warm midrange punch and crisp high‐end clarity that cuts through any mix with authority. The one‐piece quartersawn maple neck faithfully reproduces authentic 1980 specifications while adding graphite reinforcement for unmatched stability, paired with a 12"‐16" compound radius fingerboard that transitions seamlessly from comfortable rhythm work to effortless lead playing.

Sonic versatility comes courtesy of the custom Seymour Duncan® JB/59 pickup combination with parchment bobbins. The neck position '59 provides creamy vintage warmth perfect for expressive leads and rich rhythms, while the bridge JB offers high‐output bite for soaring solos and crushing riffs. The 5‐way blade switch unlocks multiple tonal options including split‐coil configurations, all controlled by a single low‐friction volume pot for pure, uncoloured tone. Twenty‐two jumbo stainless steel frets provide exceptional note definition and longevity, while Luminlay® side dots ensure perfect position awareness in any lighting condition.

The top‐mount Floyd Rose® 1000 series double‐locking tremolo system provides rock‐solid tuning stability with unlimited dive‐bomb potential and soaring flutter effects. Performance‐focused features include a truss rod adjustment wheel at the fingerboard's end for quick setup changes, rounded fingerboard edges that feel broken‐in from day one, and Charvel‐branded die‐cast tuning machines. Each guitar includes a Charvel® multi‐fit hardshell gig bag and comes strung with nickel plated steel strings (.009‐.042 gauges). Available in Robin's Egg Blue, Ivory Blitz, Gloss Black, and Ferrari Red finishes.
