Casio Casiotone LKS450 61-Note Light-Up Keyboard

The Casio LK-S450 brings professional-grade sound and innovative learning technology together in a remarkably portable package that weighs under 10 pounds. This sleek keyboard features 61 full-size, touch-responsive keys enhanced by Casio’s intelligent Key Lighting system, which illuminates the correct keys as you learn your favourite songs. The intuitive Step-Up Lessons guide you through each piece, while the free Chordana Play app extends your learning options with MIDI file support, standard notation, and “piano hero”-style displays on iOS and Android devices.

At the heart of the LK-S450 lies the AiX Sound Source, producing audio quality typically found in keyboards costing significantly more. The instrument opens with a dynamic German concert grand piano set in a virtual concert hall, complemented by 600 high-quality tones including electric pianos, organs, strings, and synthesisers. The 200 full-accompaniment rhythms create an entire backing band that responds naturally to your playing style, featuring acoustic drums, vintage drum machines, global percussion, basslines, horn sections, and rhythm guitars.

Three distinct audio options maximise your listening experience: the bass-ported speaker system provides punch and clarity across all volume levels, headphone connectivity allows for private practice, and the SURROUND mode places you directly within your musical performance. For ultimate portability, the keyboard runs on 6 AA batteries with an optional strap attachment, making any location your personal stage.

Connectivity remains simple yet comprehensive through the micro USB port, which links to PC, Mac, iOS, or Android devices without requiring drivers or installation. The optional WU-BT10 Bluetooth MIDI/audio adapter enables wireless connection to your devices for MIDI control or transforms the LK-S450 into a Bluetooth speaker system.
