Casio Casiotone LK-S250 61-Key Light Up Key Keyboard Black

The LK-S250 redefines portable music-making with its remarkably compact design that's 30% smaller than previous models while maintaining professional-grade features. Measuring just 930mm x 256mm x 73mm and weighing only 3.3kg, this keyboard includes a convenient carry grip and rounded edges for safe transport. The impressive 16-hour alkaline battery life means you can play music anywhere without worrying about power, making it perfect for musicians on the go.

Smart design choices make the LK-S250 incredibly user-friendly, featuring a streamlined interface with fewer buttons thanks to its full dot LCD screen and dial system. The home button provides instant navigation back to the main screen, whilst the 13cm x 6cm oval speakers with strengthened magnets produce surprisingly rich sound quality. An intelligent equaliser function automatically adjusts with volume changes to maintain balanced audio from bass to treble, even at lower listening levels.

Musical learning becomes engaging through the Key Lighting System that illuminates the next key to play, combined with the Step Up Lesson function's four-step practice format. The piano-style box-shaped keys feature Touch Response technology, allowing dynamic volume and tonal changes based on playing force. Dance music enthusiasts will appreciate the dedicated mode for combining drum, bass and synthesiser phrases, plus 12 specialised Dance Music Voices designed specifically for contemporary styles.

Connectivity options include a USB to host micro B jack for integration with smart devices and computers, whilst the Chordana Play app displays 50 demo songs and downloaded MIDI files on piano roll or musical score screens. The app's scoring feature tracks your progress and makes practice sessions more enjoyable, allowing you to play favourite songs by following scrolling bars without needing to read traditional musical notation.
