BOSS Nextone Stage 40w 1x12in custom Katana Artist Speaker

The BOSS Nextone series redefines professional guitar amplification by merging classic tube warmth with cutting-edge tonal flexibility. This innovative amp concept features distinctive channel voicings that produce an extensive range of inspiring tones, whilst four selectable Class AB analogue power amp types grant instant access to the unique sonic characteristics of 6V6, 6L6, EL84, and EL34 output tube sections. Powered by BOSS’s advanced Tube Logic technology, each power amp type completely re-voices the entire circuit from input to output, bringing together the complete sonic signature of these legendary power stages in a single amplifier for the first time.

Traditional tube amplifiers require significant volume levels to achieve their optimal singing tone, which often creates problems with sound engineers, bandmates, and neighbours. The Nextone solves this age-old dilemma through Tube Logic technology, which captures the complex distortion characteristics of output tubes and their interaction with the output transformer and speaker. The adjustable power control allows you to access that coveted cranked-amp tone whilst matching the volume to any environment, from home practice to studio recording or live performance.

For players seeking deeper customisation, the Nextone Editor software transforms you into a virtual technician, enabling precise adjustment of bias, sag, EQ, and other internal parameters to perfectly match your individual playing style. The amplifier also includes practical modern features such as built-in effects, a line output for direct recording without microphones, and comprehensive power control for maintaining expressive tube response at manageable volumes. Thanks to Tube Logic technology, you can enjoy all the exceptional sound and responsiveness of classic tube designs without the heavy weight and ongoing maintenance requirements.
