This comprehensive multi-effects unit houses 61 bass-optimised effects alongside 10 meticulously crafted preamps utilising BOSS’s cutting-edge AIRD technology. At the heart of the ME-90B lies its robust Preamp/EQ section, offering everything from BOSS originals like Natural and Drive Bass to authentic models of classic vintage and modern bass amplifiers. An Acoustic preamp type caters specifically to acoustic-electric and upright bass pickups, while the EQ-only option provides pristine DI tones. The six simultaneous effect sections cover essential tone-shaping tools including compressors, pitch effects, filters, drive, synth effects, modulation, delays, and reverbs, with a convenient Blend knob to maintain your direct bass clarity.
Connectivity options make the ME-90B suitable for any performance scenario, from intimate studio sessions to large venue shows. The unit features 1/4-inch outputs for mono or stereo operation, an XLR jack with ground lift for balanced DI signals to house PA systems, and USB connectivity for direct recording into music production software. BOSS Tone Studio software for Windows and macOS expands your creative possibilities with tone editing capabilities and access to BOSS Tone Exchange for sharing Livesets with the global ME-90B community. The optional Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor enables wireless music streaming and tone editing via the BTS mobile app.
