The Tone Setting section stores 20 factory presets and 10 user patches, with front-panel access to gain, volume, three-band EQ, tap tempo, and a built-in tuner. Bluetooth audio streaming turns a phone or tablet into a backing-track source, while the class-compliant USB-C port functions as a direct recording interface without driver installation. A headphone output mutes the speaker for silent practice, and the lightweight open-back cabinet keeps the whole package portable without sacrificing low-end response from the eight-inch driver.

The BOSS Tone Studio app opens deep editing of every parameter, grants access to the full effects library, and connects to BOSS Tone Exchange for downloading community-shared patches.
