Built for the modern guitarist, the Katana Gen 3 addresses the age-old volume dilemma with its integrated Power Control system, allowing you to achieve cranked-amp inspiration at bedroom-friendly levels without compromising tone or feel. Five simultaneous effect categories–Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb–offer enhanced sound quality with three variations each, while the updated BOSS Tone Studio app provides access to 60 different effect types and deep customisation options. Eight Tone Setting memories store complete amp and effect setups for instant recall during performance.
Professional connectivity options make the Katana-100/212 Gen 3 incredibly versatile for studio, stage, and practice applications. The Stereo Expand function links two amps for immersive stereo effects, while the Power Amp In jack accommodates external preamps and modellers. Recording capabilities include USB-C connectivity for direct computer and mobile device integration, plus IR-based cabinet simulation across all outputs. Optional GA-FC and GA-FC EX Foot Controllers provide comprehensive stage control, and the Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor enables wireless editing and audio playback from mobile devices.
