The DM-101 Delay Machine redefines what’s possible with analog delay technology, combining the warmth of classic BBD circuitry with cutting-edge CPU control. This innovative pedal harnesses eight 2048-stage BBDs under intelligent digital management to create 12 distinct delay modes, from gritty vintage echoes to pristine modern analog tones with extended high-frequency clarity. The unique approach of using smaller BBDs with precise CPU control allows for a far greater sonic range whilst preserving all the desirable analog characteristics that make BBD delays so beloved.

What sets the DM-101 apart is its sophisticated stereo capabilities, something rarely seen in analog delay pedals. Six of the twelve modes support stereo operation, including the impressive Pan mode that routes each BBD and its feedback loop to alternate points in the stereo field, and Dual Mod which shifts modulation phase between outputs for expansive spatial effects. The Variation knob provides access to parameters unique to each mode, whilst the Intensity control can drive delays into saturated self-oscillation for creative sound design.

Beyond its exceptional sound quality, the DM-101 offers comprehensive modern functionality with 127 user memories accessible via MIDI, tap tempo with note subdivisions, and carryover that maintains repeats when bypassed. Four onboard memories provide quick access to favourite settings, whilst connections for up to two footswitches or an expression pedal expand real-time control options. The audio outputs default to blended operation but can be reconfigured for wet/dry rigs or parallel setups, making this pedal adaptable to any studio or live setup.
