The BOSS AC-22LX redefines acoustic amplification with its groundbreaking Air Feel technology, bringing studio-quality stereo microphone techniques to your fingertips without the complexity of traditional recording setups. This compact stereo amplifier captures the rich, complex tones of acoustic instruments that typically require carefully positioned microphones in professional studios, recreating everything from the soundboard resonance to room ambience through advanced spatial processing. The innovative Air Feel feature offers five distinct settings including XY, AB, ORTF, and Mid-Side configurations, allowing you to achieve authentic acoustic character at performance volumes.

Built around dual custom 5-inch twin-cone speakers and a 10-watt stereo power amp, the AC-22LX accommodates acoustic-electric guitars, ukuleles, violins, banjos, and other pickup-equipped stringed instruments through its versatile input options. The Guitar/Instrument channel features three-band EQ with dedicated reverb and combined reverb/chorus effects, while the XLR Mic channel includes phantom power for condenser microphones, two-band EQ, and independent reverb processing. With 15 onboard memories, you can store and recall different setups for various songs and instruments.

The integrated Rhythm Box adds another dimension to practice and performance, featuring 15 patterns across five instrument types, all enhanced with BOSS spatial technology for immersive rhythmic energy. Connectivity options include stereo line outputs, USB audio interface with Loopback function for recording and livestreaming, and support for optional footswitches to control the built-in looper and rhythm functions.
