Blackstar Unity 500 Bass Combo Amp 2x10" 500w

Blackstar has cracked the code on the age-old problem plaguing guitarists everywhere – how to get that legendary valve amp tone without throwing out your back. The St. James Series claims the title of the world’s lightest 50-watt valve guitar amps, finally putting an end to the days when great tone meant sacrificing your spine at every gig.

After hundreds of hours of critical listening sessions against the most respected amplifier references, the St. James Series sets a new sonic benchmark. The EL34 version specialises in classic tones, blending world-class British crunch with surprisingly impressive US-style clean sounds. Meanwhile, the 6L6 variant maintains that same clean headroom but pairs it with Blackstar’s most aggressive overdrive circuit to date, catering to players who need serious gain on tap.

These amps are loaded with modern recording features that put them ahead of the pack. The switchable power modes (50W, 2W and SAG) give you flexibility for any situation, while the built-in reactive load routes your post-power valve signal to three direct recording outputs – XLR, stereo line-out and USB. This setup captures that authentic ‘amp-in-a-room’ feel through Blackstar’s advanced CabRig™ DSP speaker simulator, which is fully customisable to suit your recording needs.
