Blackstar HT-5RH-MKIII 5 Watt Valve Guitar Head Amplifier

Blackstar’s award-winning HT series has undergone its most significant evolution yet with the introduction of the HT-5RH MK III valve amplifier. This cornerstone series has long been celebrated for its pristine tone in a compact package, making it a favourite among professional and budding musicians in homes and studios worldwide. Following extensive refinement, research and design, the new HT MK III range represents the pinnacle of valve amplifier engineering.

The HT-5RH MK III retains all the renowned features of its predecessors whilst introducing the world-class DSP speaker simulator CabRig. This cutting-edge technology provides guitarists with access to hundreds of different cabinet, microphone, mic placement and room settings, with the ability to save and store configurations into three presets that can be recalled directly from the amplifier. The innovative 5-watt valve combo features ECC83 preamp and 12BH7 power amp tubes, two footswitchable channels, four footswitchable voices, and Blackstar’s patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF).

Beyond its technical capabilities, the HT-5R MK III showcases a strikingly modern aesthetic that rivals premium boutique amplifiers. The new panel design features a clean, crisp appearance with cornerless covering, complemented by classic chickenhead knobs and a new paper fret. High-quality mini toggle switches, updated LED colours, and a metal plate logo replace the previous plastic version, creating an amplifier that looks as impressive as it sounds. Additional features include studio-quality reverb, power reduction down to 10% of full wattage, CabRig outputs, effects loop, USB C connectivity for recording, and compatibility with FS-22/FS-16 footswitches.
