The Blackstar FS-11 footcontroller unlocks advanced control capabilities for your ID:Core amplifier, offering two distinct operational modes that put patch management at your feet. When connected, this versatile footswitch provides seamless navigation through your amp's settings without interrupting your performance flow.

Alternative Mode, accessible through the INSIDER software, creates a continuous patch loop system where your presets cycle endlessly. For instance, when you're on Bass 2 and press up, the system automatically jumps to Clean Warm, maintaining an unbroken chain of tonal options. This cycling approach ensures you'll never hit a dead end while searching for the perfect sound mid-song.

Manual Mode operates differently, with each footswitch responding based on its previous state, giving you more deliberate control over your amp's behaviour. Switch 1 serves as your gateway back to Patch Mode whenever needed, while Switch 2 handles effect toggling independently�allowing you to turn effects on or off without leaving your current operational mode.
