The Dept. 10 AMPED 1 packs a full 100-watt professional guitar amplifier into a compact pedal format that fits right on your pedalboard. This innovative design transforms any pedalboard, modeller, or multi-effects unit into a performance-ready amplification system, allowing you to maintain your signature sound wherever you perform. With power reduction capabilities down to 1W and USB-C connectivity, it adapts seamlessly between studio recording sessions and live stage performances.

The power amplifier features a unique high-headroom design that maintains full output even when connected to 16-ohm cabinets, ensuring maximum power and optimal tone with any cabinet configuration at 8 or 16 ohms. Blackstar’s patented Response control provides authentic power valve responses and genuine guitar amp dynamics, while the current feedback design mimics how valve amplifiers interact with speaker cabinets to produce that characteristic thump and presence.

Cabinet simulation is handled by Blackstar’s Cab Rig technology, which allows fine-tuning of cabinet, microphone, and room simulations with output via XLR or stereo jack connections. USB connectivity enables direct recording to your DAW without requiring an audio interface. The built-in reverb can be customised using Blackstar’s Architect deep-editing software, with the added feature of a ‘Freeze’ effect activated by holding the Reverb footswitch.
