Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor Kit w/ Touchscreen, Sunshade & Mount

Blackmagic's PYXIS Monitor is a 5” HDR touchscreen designed for on–set camera control and monitoring across a range of production workflows. The kit bundles the monitor with a foldable sunshade, locking USB–C cable, and three mounting brackets–swivel, fixed, and dovetail shoe–engineered to attach directly to Blackmagic PYXIS and URSA Cine cameras without requiring tools for repositioning.

The 1920 × 1080 LCD capacitive touchscreen delivers 1500 nits of brightness, sufficient for outdoor daylight work, and refreshes at up to 60 fps. Touch and button controls allow direct access to camera parameters including shutter, iris, ISO, white balance, timecode, and record functionality. Three assignable function buttons (F1, F2, F3) recall presets or toggle features like zebra patterns, focus assist, false colour, frame guides, and clean feed. The accelerometer automatically orients the display when mounted upside down. Connectivity runs through a single USB–C connector carrying video, power, data, and firmware updates, while a rear LED tally light signals recording status.

Mounting flexibility spans multiple patterns: the bottom features one 1/4–20 point with ARRI locating pin alignment, two M4 points, and a side configuration mirroring those same options. Operating range covers 0–40°C, with storage tolerance to –20–60°C, making the monitor viable across varied climate conditions and field applications.
