The Blackmagic PYXIS 6K represents a breakthrough in customisable cinema camera technology, offering filmmakers unprecedented flexibility to build their ideal shooting setup. This high-end digital film camera produces precise skin tones and rich organic colours through its full frame 36 x 24mm 6K sensor with wide dynamic range. The built-in optical low pass filter has been specifically engineered to perfectly complement the sensor, whilst three distinct models are available featuring EF, PL or L-Mount configurations to suit various lens preferences.

The L-Mount variant features a 6048 x 4032 full frame HDR sensor with dual native ISO capabilities and dual CFexpress media slots, all housed within a highly adaptable body design. The fixed L-Mount system accommodates the latest full frame lenses alongside a comprehensive range of lens adaptors, providing extensive optical compatibility for professional productions.

Built from precision CNC machined aerospace aluminium, the PYXIS combines lightweight portability with exceptional durability, making it suitable for demanding applications including cranes, gimbals and drone mounting. Multiple 1/4" and 3/8" thread mounts on both top and bottom surfaces, combined with various accessory side plates, allow for extensive customisation with handles, microphones and SSD storage solutions.

Recording capabilities include simultaneous 12-bit Blackmagic RAW and compact H.264 proxy files, whilst dual CFexpress media recorders and Ethernet connectivity enable seamless media sharing to Blackmagic Cloud.
