The Behringer WING stands as a formidable 48-stereo-channel digital mixer that combines professional-grade power with intuitive operation. This console features 24 motorised 100mm faders with smooth tactile response, complemented by a capacitive touchscreen, adjustable display wheel, and touch-sensitive rotary controls for comprehensive hands-on mixing. Sound capture reaches professional standards through eight MIDAS Pro mic preamps, whilst extensive digital I/O options ensure virtually unlimited connectivity possibilities.
Recording capabilities are exceptional, with up to 64 channels captured directly to dual-SD cards, plus optional expansion cards providing Dante support. The built-in 48-in/48-out USB audio interface enables direct recording to your DAW. Navigation remains straightforward thanks to the intuitive Sources system, which prioritises your source audio over complex mixing technicalities. The console includes 16 true-stereo processors featuring both standard and classic modelled effects.
Show management becomes effortless with comprehensive save and recall functions for FX parameters, channel settings, console configurations, or complete shows. The WING houses over 80 unique effects and emulations inspired by legendary hardware including Pultec EQ, SSL Bus Compressor, Neve EQ, LA-2A, 1176, and Empirical Labs Distressor. With double the effect engines and insert points compared to the X32, plus 40-bit internal processing algorithms, the console provides superior accuracy and expanded dynamic range without requiring external gear.
The pre-installed WING LIVE card enables simultaneous 64-channel recording to two linked SD cards, or virtual soundcheck capabilities using pre-recorded sessions. StageConnect technology transfers 32 channels of 44.1kHz/48kHz, 24-bit audio via a single XLR/DMX cable, supporting runs over 30 metres with standard DMX cables. The StageConnect Configurator app assists with calculating channel counts, power requirements, and cable lengths for optimal system setup.
