Behringer Steps Eurorack Modulation & Sequencer

The Behringer STEPS takes modulation to new heights as a versatile six-stage function generator designed for the Eurorack format. This powerful module excels at creating intricate LFO waveshapes, complex sequences, and detailed envelopes, with each of the six stages capable of being broken down into smaller segments for maximum creative control.

The real magic lies in how you patch the STEPS module. By connecting a signal to any of the gate inputs, you automatically group all gates to the right into a single envelope – patch into gate 3 and you’ll get a four-stage envelope including gates 4, 5, and 6. For ultimate flexibility, you can patch into gate 6 for a single segment envelope, or go all out and patch into all six gates to create six individual single-stage envelopes that can be routed to any module in your setup.

Each segment offers three distinct modes – Ramp, Hold, and Step – which determine how the output voltage reaches its target. These modes are easily controlled and modified using each segment’s dedicated potentiometer and slider, giving you precise control over your modulation shapes.

Installation is straightforward in any standard Eurorack case – simply connect the power cables and mount using the included screws. When combined with other modules in your setup, STEPS opens up a world of unique sequencing possibilities that will add serious depth and dimension to your sound.
