Behringer MonoPoly Analog 4-Voice Polyphonic Synthesizer

The Behringer MONOPOLY brings legendary 1980s synthesizer sounds within reach of every musician, offering an ultra-affordable homage to the original Korg MonoPoly with even more features packed in. This pure analog synthesizer faithfully recreates the authentic MonoPoly circuitry alongside classic VCO, VCF and VCA designs from the golden era of electronic music. Great care has been taken in engineering every aspect, from the true-to-original analog signal path to the incredibly flexible key modes that support monophonic, duophonic and 4-voice polyphonic playing styles.

At the heart of the MONOPOLY are four VCOs, each offering four switchable waveshapes including triangle, reverse sawtooth, pulse width modulation and pulse width. Each VCO’s octave, level and tuning can be adjusted independently, while PWM mode allows routing to one of two analog LFOs with four selectable waveforms and adjustable frequency. The synthesizer includes dedicated VCF and VCA sections, each with their own ADSR envelope controls for shaping notes from short and percussive to long and atmospheric, plus a noise generator for adding texture and character to your sounds.

The Key Assign Mode section provides remarkable flexibility, offering Unison mode that plays all four VCOs simultaneously, Polyphonic mode, and Unison/Share mode that distributes VCOs according to the number of notes played. The innovative Chord Memory function lets you capture complex harmonies and play them back with a single key press. The 37 semi-weighted keys feature velocity sensitivity, while the Pitch Bend and MG1 modulation wheels provide real-time sound control with customisable intensity and routing options in the dedicated Wheel section.
