The Eurolive VQ1500D brings professional-grade bass power to your PA setup with its 500-watt Class-D amplifier driving a custom-built 15" transducer. This active subwoofer combines serious low-end punch with the clarity typically found in much larger systems, making it perfect for DJ rigs and club installations. The Class-D amplification technology operates in an on/off switching mode rather than continuously like traditional Class AB circuits, dramatically reducing heat generation and eliminating the need for heavy heat sinks.

Behringer’s commitment to quality shows in their custom transducer manufacturing process, where they wind their own voice coils, process paper pulp into cones, and machine their own back plates for superior component control. The switching-mode power supply works alongside the Class-D amplifier to provide tremendous punch and fidelity whilst keeping the overall weight manageable for easy transport and setup.

The VQ1500D offers comprehensive connectivity with balanced XLR inputs, outputs, and thru jacks for daisy-chaining additional enclosures. Control features include a Boost Frequency knob targeting 40-90 Hz with a switchable +6 dB boost, a High Cut dial for upper frequency control (70-150 Hz), and a Phase switch to prevent frequency cancellation with satellite speakers. Status LEDs indicate Power, Signal presence, and Limit conditions, whilst intelligent limiting protects both the amplifier and woofer during demanding performances.
