This duophonic, three-octave instrument captures the essence of the original ARP Odyssey-inspired design, featuring authentic VCO, VCF and VCA circuitry that produces those classic tones synonymous with electronic music's most influential decades. The pure analogue signal path ensures every sound maintains the warmth and character that made the original CAT a studio favourite.

At its core, the CAT's dual VCO design offers remarkable flexibility through its duophonic and paraphonic capabilities. In Poly mode, VCO1 handles the highest note while VCO2 takes care of the lowest, allowing simultaneous two-note playing. Switch to Mono mode and VCO1 generates the lowest depressed key, giving you different performance options. The waveform switches on both oscillators provide access to sine, square, sample and hold patterns, plus pitch modulation from the LFO, whilst the Sync switch locks both VCOs together for more complex waveforms and dramatic sonic results.

Modern connectivity meets vintage sound through comprehensive MIDI integration, accepting any keyboard controller for seamless studio integration. The Pitch Bend slider offers up to one octave of bend range, expandable to two octaves via the Octave Shift switch. Fine-tune your performance with the Glide slider for smooth note transitions and the LFO Freq control for pulsating portamentos.
