The Behringer SYSTEM 100 150 RING MOD/NOISE/S&H/LFO brings the legendary “System 100M” circuitry from the 1980s into your modern Eurorack setup. This authentic reproduction captures the original sound and functionality that made the System 100M series so revered, now packaged in a convenient format that integrates seamlessly with contemporary modular systems. You can use it to expand your current rig or as the foundation for a new modular synth adventure.
At the heart of this module lies a versatile ring modulator that produces distinctive metallic and bell-like tones when processing signals through the EXT SIG X/NOISE and EXT SIG Y/LFO inputs. The built-in LFO offers five essential waveforms - sine, triangle, square, ramp and sawtooth - with precise control via the FREQ and DELAY sliders. This combination gives you the tools to create everything from subtle modulation effects to dramatic sonic textures.
The sample and hold circuit adds another layer of creative possibilities, accepting external signals through the SIG IN jack with a 3-way selector switch for choosing between External Input, LFO or Noise sources. This feature is perfect for generating evolving drones, adding rhythmic interest, or creating atmospheric elements in your compositions. Installation is straightforward in any standard Eurorack case - simply connect the power cables and secure with the included screws for immediate integration with your existing modules.
