This remarkable instrument features a pure analogue signal path built around the iconic 3340 VCO, enhanced VCF and VCA filters, plus 32 semi-weighted full-size keys that provide genuine tactile response. The synthesizer's meticulous engineering stays true to the original analogue circuitry and legendary oscillator designs, giving musicians access to ultra-flexible sound shaping capabilities that span from super-fat bass and lead tones to otherworldly sonic textures.

At the core of the MS-1 MK II-GY lies its authentic 3340 Voltage Controlled Oscillator, which generates four simultaneously-mixable waveforms including saw, triangle, square/PWM and octave-divided square sub-oscillator across a wide 4-octave range. The highly-flexible Voltage Control Filter serves as the instrument's sonic heart, featuring dedicated controls for cut-off frequency, resonance, envelope and modulation depth, plus keyboard follow functionality. The comprehensive ADSR envelope generator utilises four faders for attack, decay, sustain and release parameters, while a 3-position switch allows selection between Gate, Gate + Trigger and LFO modes.

Modern functionality comes courtesy of the built-in 32-step sequencer that can record, save and recall up to 64 patterns across 8 banks, with each bank holding 8 patterns. Musicians can work in either Keyboard mode for pattern creation and storage, or Step mode for interactive composition. The MS-1 MK II-GY also includes performance-focused features like an arpeggiator, live performance kit, and the ability to attach the included guitar strap and handgrip with pitch bend wheel and modulation trigger for dynamic stage performances.
