Austrian Audio OC818 Multipattern Dual Output Condenser Microphone, Black

The professional audio world just got a sleek new addition with the OC818 large diaphragm microphone now available in black. This new colour option caters specifically to broadcasting, podcasting, live performance, and streaming applications where the microphone needs to remain visually unobtrusive whilst maintaining focus on the performance itself.

Crafted and manufactured in Austria, the OC818 combines high sensitivity with remarkably low self-noise, handling everything from the softest whisper to extreme sound pressure levels. The microphone’s unique ceramic capsule design ensures exceptional consistency, allowing any OC818 to be match-paired with another OC818, and when operating in cardioid mode, it pairs seamlessly with the OC18, its more affordable counterpart.

The OC818 has established itself as a versatile studio and stage performer, earning endorsements from renowned engineers including Obie O’Brien, Michael Abbott, Dave Natale, Jim Ebdon, Colin Norfield, and Adrian Hall. Like its silver counterpart, the black OC818 opens up creative possibilities for stereo microphone applications and includes a comprehensive software suite, making it function more as a complete recording system rather than simply a standalone microphone.
