The surface forms a tough protective film whilst the sealant maintains its flexibility underneath, and you'll appreciate that there's no messy residual run-off to deal with during application.
The sealant dries to a clean white finish that's completely paintable and won't stain your work surfaces. StopGap™ also meets ASTM E-84 standards for flame retardancy, giving you confidence in both performance and safety compliance.
StopGap™ is supplied in generous 28 oz. caulking tubes, which means you'll need a larger caulking gun than standard - these are readily available from your local hardware store and the extra capacity means fewer tube changes on bigger jobs.
