Audio-Technica's ATM75cW delivers studio-grade vocal capture in a lightweight headworn form factor designed for live performance and broadcast applications. The cardioid condenser element employs a fixed-charge back plate and permanently polarised design, rejecting off-axis noise whilst isolating the primary sound source with precision. Built for wireless operation, the ATM75cW terminates in a locking 4-pin connector compatible with Audio-Technica's cW-style body-pack transmitters via a 1.4 m permanently attached miniature cable.

Sensitivity sits at –53 dB (2.2 mV) when operating on battery power, with a maximum input sound level of 121 dB SPL at 1 kHz. The condenser's frequency response spans 100–13,000 Hz, supported by an 85 dB dynamic range on battery operation. The pivoting boom arm, accommodating both left and right headband positioning, weighs just 60 g and measures 20.4 mm in diameter, minimising on-stage visibility whilst maintaining a stable, comfortable fit throughout extended wear. Battery life extends to approximately 2000 hours using a standard 1.5V AA cell, with switchable on-flat and on-roll-off modes available through the integral power module.

Two windscreen options—the AT8139L large and AT8139S small—address high-wind rejection and breath-noise reduction across outdoor venue and studio settings. Included clothing clip (AT8439) provides secure positioning on talent or instrument stands, whilst the accessory package supports both wired and wireless deployment without requiring separate purchases.
