The U857Q cardioid condenser gooseneck microphone brings professional-grade audio capture to any fixed installation with its innovative quick-mount design. Built specifically for conference centres, boardrooms, courtrooms, and houses of worship, this microphone plugs directly into panel- or desk-mounted XLRF-type connectors for seamless integration.

Audio-Technica’s UniGuard® technology provides exceptional protection against radio frequency interference, ensuring clean audio reproduction in challenging environments. The 14.47” microphone features an ultra-flexible small-diameter gooseneck that allows precise positioning while maintaining its shape during use.

Versatility comes standard with interchangeable elements available in cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and UniLine® line cardioid polar patterns to suit different acoustic requirements. The phantom-powered unit includes self-contained electronics and an 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep® filter that effectively reduces unwanted low-frequency ambient noise pickup.
