Designed for professional broadcast and performance applications, the Audio-Technica AT829cW cardioid lavalier microphone combines compact engineering with reliable wireless connectivity. This permanently polarised condenser microphone features a fixed-charge back plate element and connects seamlessly to A-T UniPak body-pack wireless transmitters via its secure locking 4-pin connector.

The AT829cW captures audio across a frequency response range of 70-16,000 Hz with impressive clarity, offering an open circuit sensitivity of -42.8 dBV (7.3mV) re 1V at 1 Pa. Its cardioid polar pattern provides focused pickup while minimising background noise, supported by a signal-to-noise ratio of 67.1 dBA at 1 kHz.

Measuring just 24mm in length and 10.5mm in diameter, this lightweight 2.4g microphone includes a permanently attached 1.4m cable terminated with an HRS connector. Audio-Technica includes essential accessories with the AT829cW: an AT8131 foam windscreen for outdoor use and an AT8434 clothing clip for secure, discreet mounting during presentations and performances.
